Orff Institute

Two years after it was founded the Orff Institute of the Mozarteum University was given its own building, which was opened in October 1963 in the presence of Carl Orff by Eberhard Preussner, who at the time was the president of the Mozarteum Academy.  In 1970, the rear part of the building, which among other things houses an auditorium, was extended; in 1995 the attic was converted.
