International Networks

The Mozarteum University Salzburg is a member of the following networks and organisations:

AEC
Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen

The Mozarteum University Salzburg is a co-founder of the AEC network founded in 1953 in Salzburg. It is an independent association of international music universities with the aim of supporting cooperation among the member institutions.

ERASMUS+
Educational programme of the European Union

Austria has taken part since 1991 Active participation of the Mozarteum University Salzburg since October 1997 Erasmus+ is the most successful programme of the European Union in the sphere of education and is offered in Austria by the national agency Erasmus+ Education (OeAD Gmbh).

NATIONAL AGENCY ERASMUS+ EDUCATION

The National Agency Erasmus+ Education in the OeAD-GmbH is responsible for implementing the Erasmus+ programme in education in Austria.

BOLOGNA PROCESS

The Bologna Process is a European reform process for universities which aims to create compatibility concerning qualifications and standards in higher education. The main aim of the Bologna process is, besides encouraging the mobility of students, teachers and researchers, to increase competitiveness in Europe and in the European university system.

ELIA
The European League of Institutes of the Arts

ELIA is an independent European network consisting of over 300 universities of the arts from over 40 countries.

EUA
European University Association

The organisation represents European universities and national conferences of rectors. It aims to develop a unified European education system for higher education and research.

FORUM INTERNATIONALES
of the Austrian Universities’ Conference

The Forum Internationales promotes the international relations of Austrian universities and functions as a link between the educational institutions and the ministerial institutions

OeAD
Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research

The OeAD-GmbH is the central service office for European and international mobility and cooperation programmes in education, science and research. It supervises the international exchange of schoolchildren, apprentices, students, teachers and scientists and carries out international education projects.

ASEA-UNINET
ASEAN-European Academic University Network

The ASEA-UNINET network was founded in 1994 by universities in Austria, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The main task of the university network, which in the meantime now consists of over 70 universities in 19 countries, is the organisation and financial support for research cooperation projects between countries in Europe and South-East Asia. EURASIA PACIFIC UNINET

The network was founded in 2000. Eurasia-Pacific Uninet is the largest network of its kind in Europe and has over 150 member institutions in Austria, Central Asia, South- and East-Asia as well as in the Pacific area. It comprises international partners of all disciplines and promotes projects in the sphere of research, teaching and art as well as cooperation in technology.
